Program Chair/VP/President-Elect

Anne Rauh,
Collection Development and Analysis Librarian, Syracuse University

My name is Anne Rauh and I am excited to be running for running for Vice President/President Elect/Program Chair of ENY/ACRL. I joined ENY/ACRL in 2011, shortly after moving to Central New York and after attending my first ENY/ACRL conference at Mohawk Valley Community College; I joined the conference planning committee on which I have served continuously since 2012. Through the 2017 conference, I was responsible for vendor support and during that time, I increased vendor funding of the event substantially. The result of that has been increased professional development awards to ENY/ACRL members as both conference raffle awards and grants from the organization.

Prior to my role at Syracuse University, I worked at University of Wisconsin-Madison where I was also active in the local ACRL chapter. I served for two years as the co-chair of their multi-day annual conference and developed exciting conference agenda that satisfied the interest of academic librarians throughout the state. I have also served on the conference planning committee and executive committee of the Engineering Librarians Division of the American Society of Engineering Education, chairing a four-day conference in Seattle, WA.

If elected to this position, I would be honored to bring my conference planning experience to our organization and to foster the ENY/ACRL community that has benefited me so much.
