Fall Brown Bag Lunch Series 2014: Communicating Our Value as Librarians
Since 2007, the ENY/ACRL Brown Bag Lunch Series has provided a great opportunity for librarians within a region to get together informally for lunch, discussions, and networking. This year’s theme is “More Than Just Book Buyers: Communicating Our Value as Librarians,” with separate events focusing on related subtopics ranging from leveraging on-campus collaborations to connecting our libraries to the value of higher education in order to effectively communicate our institutional value. This year we are delighted to present four brown bags at a variety of institutions, offering our members from across our region multiple options to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from their local areas. Many thanks to Clarkson University and SUNY Potsdam, Mount Saint Mary College, SUNY Geneseo, and Union College for generously volunteering to host this year’s slate of events!
